Digital Trust Canada (DTC) is the national nonprofit organization leading the development of Canada's federated digital trust infrastructure. Founded in 2023, DTC brings together over 100 member organizations from government, industry, academia, and civil society to build the systems and standards that will enable secure, privacy-preserving digital interactions across Canada. Our mission is to create a national framework where Canadians control their digital identities, organizations can instantly verify credentials, and data can be shared securely while maintaining privacy. Through collaborative innovation and community-driven development, we're addressing critical challenges in healthcare, financial services, workforce mobility, and government services. DTC's work will unlock billions in economic value, reduce fraud, streamline compliance, and ensure Canada leads in the global digital economy while protecting citizens' privacy and sovereignty.
